Social Security Disability Hearings in Western New York
The article linked below is fairly short. However, it does indicate that the wait for social security disability hearings in western New York is as long as in much of the rest of the country, about two years. Not suprising, of course. The article also states that each disability judge at the Buffalo hearing office has an average of 895 cases.
A recent report, by the way, ranked 148 disability hearing offices based on what percentage of their cases were more than a year old (literally a year, 365 days). The Buffalo office came in at number 111. Forty-seven percent of their cases were more than 365 days old.
