How much can I earn and still receive Disability benefits ?

What a person can earn while receiving SSD or SSI disability is an important issue for --

A. Potential applicants who are considering filing for disability benefits.

B. Current benefit recipients who would like to enhance their financial stability.

C. Current benefit recipients who are considering a re-entry into the workforce.

The following links may be helpful in addressing this issue. However, individuals who have been approved for social security disability or SSI and are currently in benefit receipt status are strongly advised to speak to a claims representative at their local social security office before beginning work to avoid adverse situations (such as cessation of benefits and/or overpayments).
